CHICAGO — Takeaways from Sunday’s 23-12 Jets loss to the Bears.

1. What happened to the Jets playmakers? A week after Garrett Wilson and Kenyon Sadiq looked unstoppable in Detroit, they were stopped. Wilson had three catches for 27 yards. Sadiq did not have a catch on four targets. The Jets failed to establish any rhythm on offense in this one and they just had no one make any plays other than Isaiah Williams’ late touchdown.

On defense, the Jets continue to lack impactful players. Give Minkah Fitzpatrick credit for breaking the interception drought but you can count on one hand the number of impactful plays the defense made. They had no pass rush, allowing Bears backup quarterback Tyson Bagent too much time to pick their defense apart.

The Jets have some talented young players, but they need those guys to become game-changers.
