President Trump is scheduled to deliver remarks at a rally at the Pinnacle Bank Expo Center in Grand Island, Nebraska, tonight for his fifth stop on a month-long October campaign blitz before the midterm elections.
Last week, Trump held rallies in Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, and Ohio to turn out voters for Republican Senate and gubernatorial candidates.
Tonight, Trump is stumping for GOP incumbents, Senator Pete Ricketts and Governor Jim Pillen.
Speaking to reporters while departing the White House this afternoon, Trump described both candidates as “great” and said his rally is “going to be very successful.”
“They have massive crowds as always, and we’re going to do a good job for them,” Trump added.
Trump further confirmed that he plans to rally in Michigan and other states with close contests, potentially including Maine.
“We’re sort of scheduled to be someplace almost every night, and this is something the fake news didn’t count on,” he said.

In a press release ahead of the President’s visit, the White House highlighted Trump’s record on tax relief, standing with farmers and ranchers, bringing new investment, and restoring public safety in Nebraska.
“President Trump is in Nebraska to deliver a simple message: promises made, promises kept. Lower taxes, stronger farms and ranches, new manufacturing, and safer streets are the record because Republicans delivered — and Nebraskans cannot afford to hand that progress back,” the release reads.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, thousands of supporters lined up hours early in deep-red Nebraska in anticipation of seeing the President speak.
