Wild video shows a seething crowd of anti-ICE protesters ramming NYPD officers with barricades as violent clashes erupted after federal immigration agents shot a suspected illegal migrant in The Bronx.
Among the hundreds of protesters who gathered outside NewYork-Presbyterian Allen Hospital Thursday night was presumptive New York congresswoman Darializa Avila Chevalier — who was captured on camera yelling at the cops to “stop escalating.”
Video showed the demonstrators pushing the metal fences against the cops while repeatedly roaring “our streets!”
“Is that all you’ve f–king got?” one protester shouts before the crowd raises the bars over one of the officers’ heads.

At one point, Avila-Chevalier asks a few of the demonstrators to move back on the side — before one yells out, “I voted for you.”
The irate Avila-Chevalier — a DSA candidate endorsed by Mayor Zohran Mamdani — turns to the supervising cop and gets in his face as he tries to hold the barricade, yelling “stop escalating… you are escalating… you are pushing.”
Other video showed the likely House representative getting knocked down during a melee between cops and protesters.
Avila-Chevalier went on to whine about being pushed by a cop in a nearly 400-word screed on social media Friday that accused the police of “rapidly escalating violence.”
“As I was trying to de-escalate, I was shoved to the ground by an officer. I witnessed unmarked law enforcement cars hitting protestors as NYPD officers pushed people out of its path,” she wrote.
The far-left firebrand demanded that the city disband the NYPD’s Strategic Response Group, and raged against Mamdani’s NYPD commissioner, Jessica Tisch, accusing her of violating city laws that bar police from assisting immigration officials — and calling on her to step down.
The riot erupted hours after ICE agents shot and wounded a suspected migrant gang member while a 5-year-old boy, believed to be his son, sat in the back of his SUV.
The shooting happened outside 2 Marble Hill Ave. around 4:20 p.m. when the feds tried to arrest a 28-year-old “criminal illegal alien” from the Dominican Republic.
The wounded man, identified by the NYPD as Oscar Belgal — whom the DHS alleged has ties to the Trinitarios gang — was shot in the neck but is expected to survive.
The shooting sparked a large, rowdy protest outside the hospital Belgal was rushed to, and prompted Mamdani to demand the federal agency leave the city in a fiery speech.
