The San Francisco 49ers are 5-0, and Kyle Shanahan isn’t happy.

At least with the NFL’s decision to suspend linebacker Dre Greenlaw.

On Monday morning, the 49ers found out they will be without Greenlaw for at least one game, after he used his helmet to headbutt Seahawks linebacker Ernest Jones IV while he wasn’t wearing one on the sideline.

“I was disappointed they decided to do that. But it is what it is. I just found out a little bit ago. Just disappointed, but you’ve got to deal with it,” Shanahan told Evan Webeck of The Post.

The interaction between the defensive stars came after Greenlaw chased Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold out of bounds toward the Seattle sideline in the second quarter.

Greenlaw delivered a late hit on Darnold and was immediately ejected and was confronted by the Seahawks bench.

Jones IV approached Greenlaw, and the two began exchanging words back and forth until Greenlaw leaned and delivered the hit with his helmet.

Jones IV immediately said something back to Greenlaw and pushed him.

San Francisco managed to pull off a 32-29 win over Seattle despite losing their starting linebacker.

Greenlaw will be eligible to appeal the suspension on Tuesday and has the full support of his coach to do so.

“I was told there’s an appeal process tomorrow. I was also told a couple hours ago that he was suspended,” Shanahan said to Webeck. “I’m assuming he is. Hopefully the appeal process can go better tomorrow and we can get that rescinded, but we’ll see how that goes.”

Sunday’s festivities aren’t the only time this season Greenlaw has had an interaction with an opposing sideline. During Week 4’s 24-14 win against the Denver Broncos, Greenlaw and his former head coach Sean Payton got into a verbal exchange that resulted in him being fined $11,941.

Greenlaw spent only one season with Denver and is back with the team he spent the first six years of his career with.

This season, Greenlaw has made an impact on the 49ers’ defense by logging 37 tackles and one forced fumble.
