A sightseer slipped and fell to her death off a 65-foot waterfall in Indonesia while being filmed by horrified friends.

Windy Rahma Putri, 25, was bathing in waters above Robo Waterfall in Harau, a protected nature preserve in West Sumatra, on Thursday afternoon when she was swept away by swift currents and plunged dozens of feet down the steep drop, officials said.

Windy Rahma Putri, 25, plunged down a waterfall to her death after slipping and falling off the edge.

Putri’s friends were filming her as she was lying on her back on a rock when she lost her grip — showing her desperately trying in vain to grab onto a friend as she slipped and fell off the edge.

“The victim was reported to have slipped and was suspected of drowning and being swept away,” Abdul Malik, head of the Padang search and rescue office, said, according to Newsflash.

More than a hundred first responders took part in a rescue and recovery operation and found Putri’s body at the bottom of the deep ravine below the waterfall the following day.

Authorities deployed a rope system to carry the body back up the cliffside and return it to her family, Malik said.
