President Trump on Tuesday put several reporters in their places, as they attempted to shout questions at him during an Oval Office announcement on a new compensation program for fraud tipsters.
Trump announced this afternoon that his administration would reward fraud whistleblowers alongside Vice President JD Vance, chairman of the White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud, task force Vice Chairman Andrew Ferguson, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Administrator Mehmet Oz, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, and independent journalist Nick Shirley.
During the hour-long event, most of the mainstream media sought to discredit the new initiative and talk about anything but the massive fraud across the nation.
But Trump wasn’t having it.
Early on, when one woman began screaming at Trump about Ukraine, Trump snapped, shouting “wait!” and shushing her as she repeatedly screamed over him.
The Independent’s Andrew Feinberg, who asked a nasty question earlier in the briefing, felt Trump’s wrath twice.
First, Trump pointed at Feinberg as he tried to scream a question. “No, no, listen to you. Hey!” Trump shouted, noting that he was pointing to call on someone else. “I don’t know who the hell you are, but you better be careful,” he said before calling on the next reporter.
Then, when Feinberg began yelling another question after Trump pointed at a reporter near him, Trump went off again.
“Quiet, Quiet!” Trump shouted. “What’s wrong with you? Are you a sick person?”
Feinberg sarcastically fired back, “Not that I know of, sir.” Trump responded, “I actually think there’s something wrong with you.”
It was hilarious.
