WASHINGTON — “Squad’ Rep. Ilhan Omar demonstrated “countless signals of deception” in her video message to supporters asking for donations, a body language expert assessed.

Omar’s (D-Minn.) video message posted late Tuesday marked the first time she addressed the public on camera since the raid of her DC home last week and the revelation of a probe into her citizenship status by the feds.

“It’s a nervous smile, and her eyes are not smiling, so it’s not genuine,” Florida-based body language expert Lillian Glass told The Post about Omar’s appearance in the video.

“The lips curve downward; the raising [of her] eyebrows reflect that she is questioning her own words,” Glass, who has been an expert witness in federal and state courts on behavioral analysis, added.

“Her raised eyebrows also mean surprise at what has happened to her, as she did not expect this.”

In the defiant video, which was shot in the back of a car, Omar insisted that President Trump and his allies are “running scared” and insisted that “we’re not going to be intimidated,” silenced, or scared.

She urged her backers to donate $5, $10, and $20 to help fight back against the Trump administration.

The Department of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agency carried out the raid on Omar’s home Monday of last week after obtaining a search warrant.

Looming over the case are questions about whether Omar was 17 years old when her father became a citizen in 2000. Because she was listed as a minor on the paperwork, she became a citizen as well thanks to her father.

But federal investigators are looking into whether Omar fibbed about that and was actually 18 years old, which would’ve precluded her from getting citizenship seamlessly. Her family came to the US in the mid-1990s as refugees from Somalia.

Her father, Nur Omar Mohamed, died in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Over a dozen grand jury subpoenas have been slapped against Omar’s family members and other key figures in the case.

Publicly, Omar tried to project confidence as she accused the Trump administration of lawfare. But Glass assessed that Omar had hints of concern in her body language during her video message.

“There are also countless signals of deception, from her raised shoulders to her shaking her head not when she should be shaking it,” Glass, who touts having four decades of experience, said.

“She goes upward in her inflection on the word ‘me’ as she says ‘trying to intimidate “me,”‘ as though she is asking a question. This is significant and a signal of deception.”

Glass also pointed to Omar’s “lip licking” in the video as a sign that “her autonomic nervous system is kicking in.”

The Post previously reported that the feds are planning to use DNA evidence in the fraud case against Omar, who has been a congresswoman since early 2019.
