Meghan Markle’s estranged dad is under investigation for allegedly stashing a sickening trove of child pornography in his Philippines home — which was found by his “horrified” son, according to a report.
Thomas Markle Sr., 82, is the subject of a probe after Thomas Markle Jr. allegedly uncovered “hundreds, if not thousands” of child sex abuse images in four boxes at his dad’s home in Cebu, The Sun reported.
Markle Jr., the Duchess of Sussex’s half-brother, reported the disturbing discovery to local authorities and reportedly said he found the vile images mixed up with family mementos.
The son also contacted the FBI, who plan to launch their own investigation into Markle Sr., who is currently living in the US, the outlet reported.
The FBI did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
Markle Sr., a Daytime Emmy Award-winning retired lighting director, returned to the States after suffering a blood clot in 2025, which led to his left leg being amputated.
“When I found this material I was horrified, and I had no option but to report my dad,” Markle Jr. told the outlet.
“I have supported, cared for him and helped him for years — but that stops now,” he said. “I won’t speak to my father ever again unless I’m called to give evidence against him.
Markle Jr., 60, had been searching for a phone for his Filipino girlfriend’s father when he discovered a 15-minute video of child pornography on an LG mobile phone.
The son, who has been a caretaker for his father, said he was a “shaking wreck” after uncovering the trove of child sex abuse images.
“His desktop was full of row upon row of thumbnail pictures linking to the most sickening child abuse imaginable. The worst of the worst,” Markle Jr. said.
“What I saw made me sick to the stomach — all this stuff was just dumped on me, and I didn’t know what to do,” he added.
“I knew right away it was highly illegal and would land me in jail for a long time if I didn’t get rid of it. I felt betrayed, angry and disgusted — and realized I had to report him.”
The Phillipine government’s Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking reportedly created a task force to investigate the twisted case.
Markle Sr. has been estranged from his daughter, former actress Meghan Markle, since 2018 and has never met her husband, Prince Harry.
