The jury foreperson at Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial sent out a total of six notes before a judge was forced to declare a mistrial, new prosecution court papers revealed.

The notes confirmed the panel was deadlocked for days before the decision-making process finally ended on Sept. 4.

On Aug. 28, the jurors sent out a missive asking to see the pill bottles and knife the 36-year-old Duxbury, Massachusetts mom used in a suicide attempt after allegedly strangling kids Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months.

But by Sept. 2, the group sent out their first note indicating an impasse, which read: “After many hours of deliberation, we are unable to come to a unanimous verdict.”

Judge William Sullivan told the jury to keep at it, but the following day they sent out a similar note saying, “After much deliberation, we are still unable to come to a unanimous decision.”

At that point, Sullivan read them the so-called “Tuey-Rodriguez” charge, formally urging them to continue.

On Sept. 3, the foreperson sent the first note indicating alleged issues with a lone holdout juror – who has since been identified as Michael Desronvil.

“A member of the jury is unable to follow the instruction regarding reasonable doubt. How should we proceed?” the note read.

Sullivan then questioned the members one-by-one to ask if they could follow his instructions on the law regarding reasonable doubt, which they all confirmed they could.

An hour later, the foreperson sent out another note that said: “Juror # redacted has made statements acknowledging doubt, but refuses to apply it to the verdict as the law states. This is why we cannot come to a unanimous decision.”

The next day, on Sept. 4, the panel sent out its final note: “With a heavy heart that we report that we are unable to come to a unanimous decision and will not be able to.”

Here’s the latest on Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial

After the trial ended, several jurors came forward claiming 11 out of 12 jurors were prepared to find Clancy not guilty by reason of insanity.

Desronvil and his lawyers have maintained he wouldn’t flip to join the other jurors — but insisted he
“didn’t have any doubts.”

“Based on all the physical evidence, key witnesses, and what the prosecution presented, I thought it was enough proof that she (Clancy) knew exactly what she was doing and planned,” Desronvil said through his lawyer, Edward Paltzik.

Clancy, a former labor and delivery nurse, was accused of carefully planning and carrying out the killing of her three young kids before trying to take her own life.

Her attorney, Kevin Reddington, asked the jury to find her not criminally responsible based on the claim that she was in the throes of severe postpartum psychosis and hallucinated a voice commanding her to carry out the horrific crimes.
