A Los Angeles murder suspect’s apparent lack of emotion has drawn a chilling comparison to horror villain Michael Myers, as investigators probe alleged links to other crimes following a high-speed crash that killed a 16-year-old boy and critically injured his younger sister.
Raygine Glentasia Evans, 28, was arrested Wednesday and booked on suspicion of murder in connection with the Sept. 22 collision, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Her bail was set at $3.255 million.

Detective Ryan Moreno said investigators uncovered alleged connections between Evans and several robberies in the month before the crash, as well as incidents in the San Fernando Valley.
Police have also described her as a person of interest in multiple crimes, including burglaries.
“Sometimes you get people that are really, really apologetic, very sorry. They want to talk to the family, what have you,” Moreno said. “Then you get the other kind that they don’t care at all … and not to say, because it’s Halloween and all that, but very kind of Michael Myers type where there’s kind of like no emotion at all.”
The case centers on the death of Hernan Martinez and the critical injuries suffered by his 14-year-old sister, Vicky, when a blue Nissan Sentra allegedly blew through a red light in South Los Angeles around 9:30 p.m.
Authorities said the car was traveling at 80 mph when it struck the siblings near the 5900 block of 10th Avenue in the Hyde Park neighborhood.
Their mother, who was walking with them, escaped physical injury and managed to pull Vicky away from a direct impact.
Martinez died just three days after his 16th birthday. His sister suffered a fractured pelvis and was hospitalized in critical condition.
Police said the Nissan hit a parked car and became undriveable, prompting the driver and a male passenger to flee on foot. Investigators identified the passenger as Joannae Shavon Rosby, who allegedly left with Evans in a red Honda Accord driven by someone else.
Rosby remains missing.
Evans’ arraignment date has not been announced.
Authorities said Rosby and two other suspects face charges of aiding and abetting.
