A Canadian family desperately tried to fight off masked intruders at their mansion before a real estate CEO father and his daughters were shot and his wife was attacked with a hammer, according to a report.
MAC Group boss David Morton and his family were attacked at their gated property in Toronto’s upscale Bridle Path neighborhood at around 3:45 a.m. Thursday.
Morton and his daughters, Maggie and Cristina Zohil-Morton, were shot and hit with a hammer as they “tried to fight off” three men wearing hoodies and ski masks, while his wife, Doriana Zohil-Morton, also sustained injuries from the hammer, a source told the Toronto Sun.
Wearing ski masks and hoodies, the suspects gained access to the five-bedroom residence through a back door, according to Toronto Police Service Inspector Kristy Smith.
