All six sustained non-life-threatening injuries, according to law enforcement.
Shortly after the altercation, California Highway Patrol officers alerted local police to a vehicle crash near the 10 Freeway and Vincent Avenue off-ramp.
The driver, who also suffered stabbing injuries, was linked to the crime scene and taken into custody, the news outlet reported.
The suspect, 22-year-old Luis Antonio Zavala Jr. of Los Angeles, was arrested and booked on suspicion of attempted murder.
Investigators confirmed they have recovered a weapon believed to have been used in the attack.
Zavala is currently being held on $1 million bail ahead of a court appearance at the West Covina Courthouse.
