You’re not going to see freshman center Theo Edema with many more DNPs, according to coach Rick Pitino.

“He’s going to be in the [rotation] forever now,” the Hall of Famer said prior to practice Wednesday at the Garden.

The 6-foot-11 Edema was impressive in the exhibition finale, tallying four points and seven rebounds in a win over Texas and its massive frontcourt. It was a surprise that he didn’t play against Monmouth. Pitino wanted to give an extended look to other players.

Edema, though, is going to contribute this year. St. John’s will need his size and physicality against bigger teams.
