Ravens rookie quarterback Joe Fagnano and his wife Lydia Fagnano had a sweet moment before his first start got ugly in Baltimore’s 33-10 home loss to the Jaguars on Thursday night.
The pair, who got married in September, hugged and kissed on the sideline at M&T Bank Stadium, as seen in a video by NFL on Prime.
“Love you! Have fun!” Lydia said.
Fagnano was 10-of-18 for 60 yards and two interceptions in Baltimore’s fourth straight loss.
Jacksonville forced three turnovers in the heavy, on-off rain.
The Ravens have now been held to under 14 points in four straight games for the first time in team history, per ESPN.
Fagnano was playing with his right ankle heavily wrapped after suffering an injury during last Sunday’s loss to Buffalo.
He started against Jacksonville after the Ravens moved Lamar Jackson to injured reserve for a right thumb injury he sustained in Buffalo on Sunday.
Jackson will miss at least the next three games and potentially the rest of the season.
The Ravens reportedly are finalizing a trade for Cardinals veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett, who won’t debut for Baltimore until at least Nov. 16 against the Chargers on “Monday Night Football.”
Baltimore previously signed quarterback Kedon Slovis on Tuesday, where he joined Austin Reed on the 53-man roster.
