Earlier this week, former San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk filed for reinstatement with the NFL. He also let it be known his intentions to show up at the team’s practice facility on Friday.

Instead, he and his agent, Drew Rosenhaus pulled up outside of the team offices.

Despite not taking questions, Rosenhaus released a statement, with Aiyuk adding his own take, as captured by The Post.

“Out of respect for you guys, we’ll make this brief,” Rosenhaus began. “Obviously, Brandon is here to meet with the team. Fortunately, he’s feeling good physically. He’s healthy and ready to get back to work.

“We don’t really have any comment about where he is going to play. We’ll keep that between us and the Niners. Obviously we are here with all of the right intentions.”

The team had previously stated that he has played his last down for San Francisco.

The enigmatic wide receiver then provided a brief statement.

“I am feeling grateful and healthy through a long recovery process, rehab process. I am back to 100% and looking to re-extended into the National Football League.”

The veteran wide receiver suffered a serious knee injury that required multiligament surgery.

According to a report by NFL Insider Tom Pelissero, Aiyuk owes the 49ers approximately $13 million in bonus forfeiture.

The 49ers paid Brandon Aiyuk a $23 million signing bonus in 2024 and a $22.9 million option bonus in 2025, which totals $45.9 million. Aiyuk officially left the team about three-fourths of the way through the 2025 season, thus a 28% bonus forfeiture is owed.

Niners general manager has not minced words when expressing his thoughts toward the wideout. Neither has head coach Kyle Shanahan, who offered just four words on Friday.

Amidst all of the controversy swirls yet another story.

Aiyuk has an outstanding warrant for his arrest for a reckless driving charge. Police were seen outside of the stadium on Friday morning on multiple occasions.

It is not known whether Rosenhaus, on behalf of Aiyuk, and the Police have worked something out away from the public eye.

This is a developing story with more to follow.
