The Jets can breathe easier now.

Starting right tackle Morgan Moses has avoided a season-ending injury.

Tests confirmed he only suffered a sprained MCL and bone bruise in the third quarter of Thursday night’s win over the Patriots, NFL Network reported.

The expectation is that the 33-year-old offensive lineman will miss two-to-four weeks.

Friday, coach Robert Saleh said the early prognosis was “decent,” but there were still tests left to determine the extent of the injury.

It seems likely Moses will at least miss the next two games, against the Broncos next Sunday and the Vikings the following Sunday in London.

While Moses is out, rookie Olu Fashanu will step in.

A first-round pick (11th overall) out of Penn State, Fashanu has worked both at left and right tackle.

Saleh said he performed well against the Patriots.

“It was kind of a luxury when [Moses] got hurt. You’re sending out a first-round pick,” Saleh said. “He did good. He’s been getting a lot of reps in practice. Obviously, with the plans that we have for those two tackles, and again, he’s another guy that we’re looking forward to seeing getting better and better every week.”

The Jets traded a pair of mid-round picks to the Ravens for Moses in the offseason that included a pick swap.

He spent the 2021 season with the Jets and the past two years with the Ravens, after spending the first seven years of his career in Washington.
