Former President Donald Trump ruled out running again for president in 2028 if he does not win November’s election against Vice President Kamala Harris.
Trump made the remarks in an interview that aired Sunday on “Full Measure” with host Sharyl Atkisson.
“If you’re not successful this time, do you see yourself running again in four years?” Atkisson asked.
“No, I don’t. No, I don’t,” Trump said. “I think that that will be, that will be it. I don’t see that at all.”
Trump said that he does not think that it will come to that because he believes that he will be successful with his current campaign.
Polls currently show a very tight race between Trump and Harris that is going to come down to just a handful of swing states where there is little distance between the two candidates in the polls.
