Indiana moved into the top five after taking down Oregon in Week 7.

The Hoosiers are at No. 3 in the AP Top 25 behind Ohio State and Miami after their 30-20 win over the Ducks. Oregon fell from No. 3 to No. 8 after the loss, as Indiana jumped four spots.

The No. 3 ranking is the highest Indiana has ever been in the AP Top 25. According to Sports Reference’s database, the Hoosiers had never been higher than No. 4.

Oklahoma fell from No. 6 to No. 14 after losing to Texas. The Longhorns were unranked and are now back in the Top 25 at No. 21 after the 23-6 victory.

Texas A&M moved up a spot to No. 4 after its win over Florida. The Aggies swapped spots with Ole Miss after the Rebels had to sweat out a win over Washington State as a 33.5-point favorite.

Alabama jumped up two spots to No. 6 after a 27-24 road win at Missouri. The Tigers dropped two spots to No. 16.

Texas Tech also moved up two spots after an easy home win over Kansas. The Red Raiders are at No. 7 ahead of Oregon as Georgia and LSU round out the top 10. The Bulldogs beat Auburn on the road Saturday night and LSU got a home win against South Carolina.

The new rankings mean Week 8 is set to be a loaded week with five matchups between ranked teams. No. 10 LSU visits No. 17 Vanderbilt, No. 5 Ole Miss visits No. 9 Georgia, No. 11 Tennessee plays at No. 6 Alabama, No. 20 USC plays at No. 13 Notre Dame and No. 23 Utah visits No. 15 BYU.
