A Georgia mother allegedly killed her two newborn sons in separate incidents over three years apart from each other, according to authorities.
Dakota Taylor, 21, was arrested on Thursday and charged with malice murder, felony murder, and cruelty to children in the first degree, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

On Jan. 8, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department asked the GBI to help investigate the death of an 8-month-old, who was found unresponsive at a home in Matthews, Ga. and rushed to a hospital where he later died, the bureau said.
Investigators found that Taylor allegedly “unlawfully and with malice aforethought” suffocated and killed her infant son, Caleb, causing him “excessive mental and physical pain,” according to a grand jury arrest warrant obtained by The Post.
At the time of her arrest, Taylor was already being held at the McDuffie County Jail on charges out of DeKalb County, Ga, for another child death investigation stemming from 2021 accusations, authorities said.
The young mom allegedly killed her 7-month-old son Micah in September 2021 with “malice and forethought” by obstructing his airways, according to an arrest warrant obtained by 14 News.
His cause of death was previously undetermined, the outlet reported.

Body camera footage from the night police officers arrived at a group home where the mother and child were staying showed the scene after little Micah was discovered unresponsive, according to the publication.
The young mother was bathing Micah upstairs and brought him back downstairs to put him in his swing, the warrant detailed.
Workers later noticed Micah was slumped over, pale, and unresponsive, according to the document.
Several authorities, including a Department of Family and Children Services file, said that Taylor appeared heartless and indifferent to her son’s death in the following days.
“I don’t know if this has anything to do with anything, but the mother didn’t … She was very … Like ‘alright, whatever.’ And I was like your baby is …” an officer said in body camera footage, according to the outlet.
Another officer described Taylor’s demeanor as “nonchalant” as they carried out her dead baby.
The investigation is currently ongoing and active, according to authorities.
