The time has officially begun for Santa Claus to come to town.
The beloved Christmas tradition where children from across the globe track Saint Nick on Christmas Eve will launch on the North American Aerospace Defense Command’s Tracks Santa website Monday.
NORAD, which monitors and defends North American airspace 365 days a year, is celebrating its 70th year of the holiday program — which allows little ones to revel in Christmas magic as they await a visit from Kris Kringle.
The site is available in nine languages: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Chinese and Korean.

Kids can also use a NORAD Tracks Santa app, which is available on the Apple App and Google Play stores, or its Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and X pages. Amazon Alexa is even getting in on the fun, allowing users to follow Father Christmas’ journey on his sleigh — anxiously awaiting the time he’ll arrive in their city.
Little ones around the world can also still phone in, and call 1-877-HI-NORAD to ask a live agent about Santa’s whereabouts.
When NORAD announced the start of the tracking season on Instagram, fans of all ages expressed their delight.
“I watched this with my dad, now I’m watching it with my kids!” one commented.
