A boneheaded wannabe influencer in Florida was arrested for allegedly threatening to shoot up a school in a twisted bid to “provoke reactions online,” authorities said.
Ethan Ladner, 20, of Santa Rosa Beach, was charged with making electronic threats of a mass shooting after the FBI was made aware of the threatening video he allegedly posted on TikTok over the weekend.
“Ladner admitted to posting the threatening comments and said he was attempting to provoke reactions online,” Walton County Sheriff’s Office said in a Sunday statement announcing his arrest.

“Let us be clear. There is no such thing as a ‘joke’ when it comes to threats of violence toward our schools,” the sheriff’s office said.
“Even comments made ‘as a joke’ can result in criminal charges, school discipline, and long-term consequences that follow someone for life.”
The clip in question was quickly yanked from the social media platform, according to authorities.
It wasn’t immediately clear what school, if any, was referenced in the video, and authorities have not released details on the threat.
