A pint-sized soccer phenom was “traumatized” over an incident at a park in Winter Park, Florida, that resulted in police being called over a strange youth soccer league dispute.

The now-viral video showed 3-year-old Nevada scoring multiple goals in an i9 Sports youth soccer game before it cut to his parents talking to police after the authorities were called to his game on Saturday morning by league director Thomas Hayes, who alleged in a 911 call that “there is a parent here that’s really, really disruptive.”

In the video, the boy’s father, Don, could be heard saying that the police had been called because his son was “too good.”

And in an interview with HuffPost, Nevada’s mother, Martasia, said the whole incident has “really traumatized” him.

“He still wants to play soccer. He just doesn’t want to go back to that place. I don’t think that’s how he should be thinking, that as a 3-year-old he did something wrong,” she said.

Martasia claimed that Nevada had been targeted all season in a league in which he plays against 5-year-olds, and when the game on Saturday started, she said that she saw other parents, the director and some coaches circle up, “trying to figure out how to let us know that he can’t play so the other kids could play.”

In a devastating turn, Nevada is scared that he created the drama, his mother said.

“It’s heartbreaking because now Nevada’s saying he doesn’t wanna go over there. He’s scared that he did something wrong,” Martasia said.

The whole situation started when Martasia said that she had gone over to the huddled-up coaches, league director and parents to stand up for her son.

She claimed that once she started defending Nevada, “they just called the police.”

However, 911 audio obtained by The Post revealed that Hayes claimed that there was a parent “following me around, calling me names in front of the whole bunch of people that are here. I want to be done.”

Two officers from the Winter Park Police Department arrived at the scene at 10 a.m. and a police report stated that the incident was a “civil matter” and not “criminal” in a news release.

No arrests were made and no one was trespassed, according to police.

The league has refunded Nevada’s family, Martasia told HuffPost.
