6-year-old boy clinging to life after being struck by NYC ambulance in Brooklyn

A 6-year-old boy was clinging to life after he was struck by a Hatzolah ambulance in Brooklyn Saturday morning, cops said. 

The boy had apparently run into the street mid-block on 52nd Street between 15th and 16th Avenue in Borough Park when the ambulance hit him around 10:30 a.m., a police source said.

The child was clinging to life when he was raced to the hospital, officials said. William Farrington

The ambulance took the child to Maimonides Hospital in critical condition, and then returned to the scene of the crash, cops said.

There were no arrests and police are investigating.
