Eight people were killed and 17 others injured by a deranged 21-year-old student who went on a bloody stabbing spree Saturday evening in eastern China, police said.
The gruesome massacre in Wuxi came just days after a psychotic driver mowed down a group of people exercising outside a sports complex in the southern city of Zhuhai, killing 35 people and injuring another 43.
Police said the motorist, a 62-year-old man identified by his last name, Fan, had been upset over how his financial assessments were divided in his divorce settlement.
