A runaway piglet captured on video scrambling through the streets of West Hollywood has landed himself an A-list home after catching the attention of Grammy-winning songwriter Diane Warren.

The black-and-white pig — affectionately dubbed “Wilbur” by viewers online — was adopted Thursday morning after his weekend escape turned him into a local celebrity, reported NBC.

Zwilling attended the adoption process and was able to take Wilbur home.

LA Animal Services had said that if several people wanted to adopt the pig, officials would hold a Silent Auction, a process the agency described as providing “a fair and competitive way to determine the adopter without favoritism.”

Wilbur won’t exactly be roughing it after his brief life on the run.

Zwilling said the pig will live at a sanctuary where he will have “gourmet salads every day, beautiful acreage, other friends, other animals, it’s going to have an amazing life and grow up, you know, to be a very, very, very happy pig.”

In 2021, she helped arrange the relocation of the last loose cow from a group of about 40 that escaped from a slaughterhouse in Pico Rivera, according to NBC.

The Pico Rivera city manager said at the time that Warren planned to have the animal relocated to Farm Sanctuary in Acton.
