Anthony Edwards had to be helped off the court after taking an awkward fall while going up for a layup in the second quarter, but after what appeared to be a scary injury, he later returned to the game.
The injury left more than a few Timberwolves fans holding their breath as Minnesota held a large lead over the Warriors in Game 2 of their second-round series.
Edwards was originally listed as questionable to return due to a left ankle sprain, but he was back on the floor to start the second half.
His attempt was swatted away, and when he came down, Edwards appeared to fall on his ankle, and it bent the wrong way.
The Timberwolves star immediately grabbed his left ankle and was clearly in pain as he was down on the floor.
The Timberwolves’ medical team came out to check on Edwards as several of his teammates gathered around him and he was helped off the court, not able to put much pressure on his left leg.

Other videos showed the three-time All-Star being taken directly to the Timberwolves locker room.
The injury occurred in the second quarter with 5:56 left in the first half as the Timberwolves held a 37-19 lead.
NBC Sports Bay Area reported that Edwards was running drills in preparation to get back into the action during halftime.

Edwards received a warm welcome back from several of the opposing players, including Trayce Jackson-Davis, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
Edwards played 15 minutes in Game 2 before the injury scare happened while recording seven points on 2-of-7 shooting.
The Warriors were playing without a superstar of their own, with Steph Curry out due to a hamstring injury he suffered during Game 1.
Golden State entered Thursday night’s game leading the series 1-0.
