The victim, who couldn’t see who attacked him, was found on the ground unconscious and bleeding, police said.

He was taken to Weill Cornell Medical Center, where he is expected to survive, police said.

Davis wandered away from his apartment on East 166th Street within NYCHA’s Forest Houses in the Morrisania section around 1:30 p.m. on July 20, when his mom reported him missing, cops said.

Police released his photo at the time in a public plea to help track him down.

It is unclear where Davis went between the time of his disappearance and when he was attacked, or how he traveled to the Upper East Side.

No arrests have been made in the unprovoked stabbing.
