At least one person was killed, and 11 victims were reported after a shooting in Midland, Texas, on Friday morning.
Authorities say the suspect remains barricaded inside a building after officers responding to the scene encountered gunfire.

Nine victims were transported to Midland Memorial Hospital. Four were undergoing surgery, and five were listed in stable condition. Officials said a perimeter has been established around the suspect, who remains contained as “armored units … and partner agencies” work to resolve the standoff.
