Bree Fram Attacks Trump and Launches Congressional Bid with a Polarizing Political Speech (VIDEO)

Former Air Force officer Bree Fram announced her candidacy for Congress with a speech heavily critical of President Donald Trump, whom she directly blames for the end of her military career. Fram stated that she served the United States for 23 years following the September 11 attacks, reaching the rank of colonel, and claimed she was dismissed not for her professional performance, but “for who she is.”

In her message, Fram sought to portray herself as a victim of alleged persecution by the federal government, arguing that today “too many Americans are afraid” of what the state might do to them. However, her statements omit a key point: the United States Armed Forces are not a space for political or ideological activism, but institutions that operate under clear rules, discipline, and strict adherence to the chain of command and their constitutional mission.

President Trump has been consistent in his stance of keeping the armed forces focused on national defense, operational readiness, and the security of the country, not on personal or identity-based agendas. Decisions made during his administration reflected that principle, prioritizing cohesion, military effectiveness, and compliance with internal standards that have historically governed the U.S. military.

Fram also employed campaign-style language by promising to “protect rights” and “make opportunities accessible,” without outlining concrete proposals or explaining how her military experience would translate into real legislative solutions. For many voters, this type of rhetoric is seen more as an emotional narrative designed to mobilize political support than as a serious governing agenda.

Finally, while Fram claims she will not flee her oath to the Constitution, critics note that the Constitution also upholds the authority of the commander in chief and institutional order—principles that the Trump administration has firmly defended. Her candidacy thus joins a growing list of aspirants seeking to capitalize on legitimate administrative decisions to build a political career rooted in confrontation with the current president rather than in a clear vision for the country.
