An unhinged Brooklyn wigmaker showered first responders with obscenities during a bizarre rant after the horrific wreck that killed a mom and her young daughters, prosecutors said — as they revealed that the youngest survivor of the tragic crash is now in a medically induced coma.
Miriam Yarimi, 32 smiled in court as she was arraigned Wednesday on a manslaughter and assault indictment and ordered held without bail in the tragic March 29 crash on Ocean Parkway that also injured four others.
“You bitch,” Yarimi allegedly snapped at firefighter Francis Donnelly when he arrived at the scene shortly after 1 p.m., according to court records filed by the DA’s office, which revealed more details of her disturbing behavior.
“What the f–k is taking so long. Mother f–ker, get me the f–k out of here. No, you want a minute. No, you f–king wait a minute.
“Get out of my way, you bitch,” she allegedly said. “F–k you.”
Yarimi’s off-the-rails rant continued after she was taken to NYU Langone Hospital, the documents show.
“Take me out of these cuffs. Why can’t’ you uncuff me? I am a wigmaker,” she allegedly told two 61st Precinct cops at the hospital. “Uncuff me. I want my lawyer. Where’s my lawyer? I need my lawyer if I’m going to speak to the cops.”
Prosecutors said Yarimi also told the officers, “People are out to get me,” and complained, “F–k you, I need a whole work up to get whatever is in my body out of it,” while refusing to take a breathalyzer.
“I do not want to put my breath on something that is going to contain my DNA,” she allegedly told a detective shortly after 3:30 p.m. that day. “No, I’m good. Want to smell my breath? There’s no alcohol on my breath. You want to take a breathalyzer? Sure, go for it. I’m just saying I don’t like my DNA on things.”
The crash killed mom Natasha Saada and her two daughters – Diana, 8, and Debra, 5, – while leaving her 4-year-old son, Philip, critically injured.
“In my over 25 years as a prosecutor in Brooklyn, this still remains one of the worst collisions that I’ve ever seen on a New York City street,” Brooklyn DA Eric Gonzalez said after the proceedings.
Gonzalez also provided an update on the boy’s condition.
“The last time I spoke to the father, the son had been sort of in a medically induced coma,” Gonzalez said. “He had his kidney removed, and there has been a lot… he has a lot of damage. They are still looking to see whether or not there are going to be lifelong consequences from the injuries.”
Yarimi, a single mom, was driving her 2023 Audi A3 sedan at twice the speed limit when police said she allegedly slammed into an Uber and flipped over, striking the Saada family in the crosswalk.
The 63-year-old driver of the Uber and his passengers, a mom and her two young children, were also injured in the wreck.
Police said the Audi had racked up more than 93 traffic violations, including 20 speeding tickets.
According to childhood friend Ahuva Katzin, Yarimi, who has had spates of bizarre and unstable behavior, came from a “nerdy religious” family and attended Beit Yaakov Orot Sarah, a religious school for girls about a block from her home in Midwood.
“Her happy phases always go to religion,” Katzin said. “Like every other week you’ll see she’s religious, and then the next she’s not religious. She’ll swear that she’s going to keep Shabbat, and then three days later you’ll see her on a cruise in a photo that was taken on Shabbat.”
She said Yarimi was devastated when her affair with a married NYPD cop that started when she was just 14 abruptly ended. She later sued the city over the illegal tryst and won a $2 million settlement last year.
Katzin also said that Yarimi’s social media persona as a fashionable and outgoing party girl with a penchant for fast cars is largely a put-on, and said she’s actually a bit of a shut-in.
Meanwhile, a friend of the Saada family said he was relieved Yarimi was denied bail on Wednesday.
“She doesn’t care about human beings and the world,” said the man, who asked to be identified only as Joel K. “She only cares about herself. She looks at human beings as cockroaches. She’s very selfish. She doesn’t see red lights nor cars nor people walking in the crosswalk. All she sees is herself.
“She is — what you call it — an influencer,” he added. “She’s out there. Now she will get the fame when she goes to prison.”
