Cam Schlittler understands why there’d be a worry.

He gets why there could be concerns of soreness or an injury after his velocity was down — from a yearly average of 97.7 mph to 96.8 on Tuesday, according to Baseball Savant — during his start against the Guardians after it was also slightly down the previous outing against the Orioles too.

But Schlittler told The Post that, beyond soreness that always happens, he feels good. He’s not concerned about an injury or needing an MRI exam.

The Yankees’ emerging star — who still is carrying a 1.89 ERA for the season even after allowing five runs, with four earned, on five hits — is carving out a space in the Cy Young Award conversation. He considered Tuesday to be a fluke.
