Week 1 is upon us and Thursday night offers up the first taste with a slate of 21 college football games.
That includes our first look at Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes. Coach Prime’s crew started off last season hot and captured the nation’s attention before rapidly plummeting back to earth. After beefing up their roster via the transfer portal, will this year be different for the Buffs? They open at home against FCS stalwart North Dakota State.
Also in action: No. 11 Missouri, No. 12 Utah, No. 22 Kansas and No. 24 NC State. Below are Thursday’s games of note (all times ET).

Rare one but good one: Arkansas refuses to take dumb penalty
.@RazorbackFB has declined the 15-yard penalty assessed to UAPB at the start of each half for not wearing contrasting uniforms.

And then moments later, Central Michigan’s Stephan Bracey took a kickoff back 87 yards to the house. MACtion has arrived in Week 1, folks.

This isn’t a bad way to start off a season:
-
There are a number of games that just kicked off, but the one game that started an hour ago (Howard vs. Rutgers) is nearing halftime with the Scarlet Knights up 14-0.
-
We’ll be keeping an eye on all of the action on Thursday, with a specific focus on Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes opening their season at home against North Dakota State once that game kicks off.
