“Monday Night Football” gets a doubleheader in Week 3, with the Jaguars and Bills kicking things off at 7:30 ET (ESPN) and the Commanders and Bengals shortly thereafter (8:15 ET, ABC).
Our focus here is on the second game, where we’ve put together our two favorite player props for Monday night’s Commanders (1-1) vs. Bengals (0-2) matchup.
MNF best bets: Commanders vs. Bengals player props
Joe Burrow under 0.5 interceptions (-125, BetMGM)
Bengals fans saw Burrow’s quality in Week 2 despite losing 26-25 to the two-time defending champion Kansas City Chiefs.
Burrow out-dueled Patrick Mahomes, completing 23-of-36 passes for 258 yards while finishing with a 2-0 touchdown-to-interception ratio.
With the Bengals coming up short in their quest for their first victory, this Week 3 matchup against the Commanders is a must-win.
Cincinnati is just 1-9 straight up with Burrow as its starting quarterback in the first two weeks of a season. However, in Week 3, he’s is 3-0-1.
He’ll face a Commanders defense that had allowed the most passing touchdowns (six) entering Week 3, while failing to record an interception.
Burrow has also yet to throw a pick this season, and this is an active trend dating back to five of his last six games.
Look for the Bengals quarterback to lead by example and have another solid performance in Week 3.
Terry McLaurin under 48.5 rushing + receiving yards (-115, bet365)
The Commanders are taking things slow with their rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels.
Daniels ranks last in intended air yards per pass attempt (4.5), which means he’s not exactly pushing the ball downfield.
Instead, we’re seeing him resort to checkdowns. According to For The Numbers, he ranks 29th in that category with a rate of 13.3%.
While Daniels has been able to build up his confidence, completing 75.5% of his passes, the wide receivers will have to show some patience.
It certainly doesn’t help that Daniels has the third-shortest time to throw (2.33 seconds) in the pocket among quarterbacks in the league.

Daniels completed six of his eight pass attempts to wide receiver Terry McLaurin for just 22 receiving yards.
Unless the Commanders start utilizing McLaurin as a runner in the backfield, it’s likely that he’ll continue to be less of a downfield threat.
