Several gunshots rang out during a dispute in the heart of Times Square on Thursday afternoon, sending panicked tourists and commuters scrambling for safety.
Wild video shows at least two people in black clothing open fire with what appears to be handguns as they step into the tourist-packed intersection.
Nobody was struck by the gunfire, but a bullet did hit a car when at least one gunman opened fire near West 44th Street and Seventh Avenue just after 3:30 p.m., cops and witnesses said.

“There were shots fired, and my car got hit in the hood,” Bonnie White told The Post.
“I just heard the shots fired, and I seen the guy,” she said “I’m pissed. I’m so mad. I don’t know what’s going to happen to my car.”
Police said several people were involved in a fight that exploded into gunfire.
Witnesses reported hearing about five shots and wild video captured that moment, showing scores of people bolt for cover.
“One dude shot another dude and the police got him,” an eyewitness, who declined to give his name, told The Post. “I didn’t hear no fight, I just heard shots.

“Five shots. Bang bang bang bang bang. People started running. Everybody just took for cover. Once they apprehended him, it was back to normal. Now we over here eating shishkabab chilling.”
Another witness said police caught one of the shooters “real quick,” although it was not immediately clear if the gunman was injured.
“It’s unfortunate,” the witness said.
“This is supposed to be the best day out here in New York. The Knicks took the W, that’s all we ever wanted for 53 years.”
A gun was recovered at the scene and one suspect is in custody.
Charges are pending.
