Unfortunately, even with a full 16-game slate of matchups on deck in Week 8 thanks to no teams being on a bye, injuries have made it more crucial than ever to win at the flex this year. That means often having to go deeper into the rankings than one might have preferred ahead of the season. But luckily, there have been plenty of deep options to emerge with fantasy relevance.

Perhaps one of the most surprising flex stars in PPR leagues this year has been Wan’Dale Robinson, who’s carved himself out a solid role as the WR2 for the New York Giants, currently tied for the second-most targets in the league through the first seven weeks. His volume has made him a weekly WR3 with upside, even if Daniel Jones hasn’t quite played at an MVP level this season.
