A disgraced middle school teacher in New Jersey was arrested Thursday after her former student claimed she had sex with him in her car — and even in her classroom.
Ashley Fisler, 36, taught social studies at the Orchard Valley Middle School in Washington Township, New Jersey from 2014 to 2023, New Jersey 101.5 reported. Her purported victim — now an adult — alleged the pair had sexual relationship while he was her pupil in 2021.
The former student, however, didn’t report it to police until early 2026, the outlet reported. He told authorities that he had sex with Fisler multiple times, including sleeping with her inside her car and the very classroom where she taught.

Investigators later discovered several text exchanges between Fisler and the victim that corroborated some of the sordid details he described, the outlet reported.
Fisler no longer works as a teacher in Washington Township and apparently left behind her teaching career altogether, school officials confirmed.
After leaving Orchard Valley Middle School, she launched her own apparel company where she primarily designed unofficial merchandise for the Philadelphia Eagles, according to her business’s Facebook.

She also worked as a business administrator for a landscaping business in Sewell, New Jersey, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Fisler was charged with six counts of first-degree sexual assault of a minor, one count of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, and one count of second-degree official misconduct.
The top charges carry a maximum of 20 years in prison, while both second-degree charges carry a maximum of 10 years.
Last week, a married high school teacher in Washington state reportedly admitted to having sex with a 16-year-old student all over the school grounds — including inside a classroom closet and in the bushes.
