The Giants’ quest to surround Jaxson Dart with experienced play-callers could lead to one of Joe Burrow’s developers.

Brian Callahan, the former Titans head coach and Bengals offensive coordinator, is interviewing for the quarterbacks coach vacancy, according to an NFL Network report.

Callahan was connected to the Giants offensive coordinator job before that went to former Bears head coach and Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy. The Giants then added Greg Roman, who previously was offensive coordinator for Lamar Jackson (Ravens) and Justin Herbert (Chargers) under the Harbaugh brothers.

It’s clear that the Giants are trying to build a network of offensive minds for Dart.

Callahan has never worked with Giants head coach John Harbaugh, Nagy or Roman but comes with stamps of approval. Peyton Manning raved about him as a young coach with the Broncos and then he was Matthew Stafford’s quarterbacks coach with the Lions.

Callahan spent five seasons as the non-play-calling offensive coordinator for Burrow and head coach Zac Taylor with the Bengals. He was tapped to be Titans head coach in 2024, but constant turmoil within the front office and too many losses (4-19) amounted to a quicker-than-expected firing and an abbreviated chance to call plays for 2025 No. 1 draft pick Cam Ward.

Dart is excited about the staff that the Giants are building, especially after talking to Chiefs star Travis Kelce about Nagy.

“The amount of people who reached out to me when the news broke and had exceptionally high things to say about him and his character and the coach that he is makes me very, very excited for the future and the opportunity to play for him,” Dart told The Post.
