Cops are looking for a man who shot a teenage girl in an apartment building in the Lower East Side Thursday afternoon.
He shot the 16-year-old girl at least one time at 210 Stanton Street a little after 3:30 p.m., police said Thursday.
The bullet grazed the girl’s head, according to police sources who did not know if the girl was the intended target of the shooter.
EMS rushed the teen to a nearby hospital where she is in stable condition, cops said.

After the shooting, the man ran off and is still on the loose, according to the NYPD.

Investigators described him as wearing a gray shirt and red shorts.
