An American flag-carrying skydiver was captured on video crash landing near a crowd at a popular rodeo in Northern California.
The patriotic parachutist was seen gliding toward the ground at Folsom Pro Rodeo near Sacramento, when his massive flag appeared to get snagged on a tree.
The man then crashes into a tent on the ground before the video cuts out.
Miraculously, the skydiver walked away unscathed, the rodeo’s organizers said.
“On behalf of the Folsom Pro Rodeo and Choose Folsom, our skydiver Ross is safe and walked into our arena, post jump, to a standing ovation,” organizers told Fox 40. “He will be skydiving into our arena again tonight, July 3rd.“

Entering its 65th year, the event is sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and is billed as a showcase of “the tradition and excitement of rodeo, making it a must-attend for all who appreciate the thrill of the rodeo and the spirit of Folsom, California.”
The event honors “the traditions of rodeo while providing top-notch family entertainment for our audience. We love offering the region an experience that captures the essence of the Old West and honors the city’s past.”
