Easter was allegedly driving one of two vehicles when they struck best friends Isabell DeLand, 16, and Maddalyn Dailey, 17, slicing the girls’ car in half while killing them instantly.

The suspect allegedly drove a Chevrolet Camaro while another driver who stayed at the scene drove a Dodge Charger.

Easter reportedly fled on foot and left his son in the passenger seat, whereas the other driver remained at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence.

The teenage victims were best friends and were just a few houses away from their homes when the horrific crash occurred. They also attended the same high school.

“I heard the garage door close, and within a minute, I heard the impact and I automatically knew. It’s a death trap because there are no signals,” Dailey’s father told NBC4 as he recalled his daughter telling him she was dropping off DeLand.
