It’s getting hot in here!
The smokin’ FDNY employees featured in the department’s new “Calendar of Heroes” were heating things up as they offered selfies and signatures to customers at a promotional event on “Giving Tuesday.”
The 24 firefighters and other workers starring in the department’s 2026 men’s and women’s calendars were all smiles — and muscles — as they greeted excited fans at the Fire Zone gift shop in Midtown Manhattan.
“I mean, look at this! It’s pretty amazing,” said California resident Jennifer Holmes, who was visiting the city for her birthday and stopped by.
“I always have such respect for firemen. … When I saw they were doing the event, we wanted to support them,” Holmes told The Post after posing with the men’s cover model.
Event-goers were able to purchase the calendars for $25. All of the steamy calendars’ proceeds are donated to the FDNY foundation to support members of the department.
The event — held on the day of the year meant to encourage people to donate to charity amid the holiday-buying frenzy — drew visitors from all over, with one Danish out-of-towner cozying up to New York’s Bravest for some cheeky photos.
“It was very hot. Very nice!” exclaimed Denmark native Christina Mooer of her experience chatting it up with the muscular heroes.
Mooer said her husband encouraged her to stop by the event during her trip to New York.
The models — including Raymond Urena, 32, and Joselyn Vidal, 30 — were also in high spirits.
“It’s actually the best feeling ever,” said Vidal of the event.
The EMT mom of two told The Post she decided to apply to the calendar selection to prove to herself she could be a contender.
“I was just hoping I could show myself, hey, if other people can do it, why not me?,” she said.
Both Urena and Vidal stressed the importance of serving their communities on Giving Tuesday.
“It’s amazing. You can’t do this job if you don’t like giving back,” Urena said.
Matt DiLiberto, chairman of the FDNY Foundation, said the group was “thrilled” to have the calendars back this year after a two-year hiatus. The comeback was made possible thanks to a $250,000 donation from Firehouse Subs — who covered all production costs for the photo shoot.
“To be without it for two years, we heard the call, and we were excited that Firehouse Subs came and said, ‘We’ll help you bring this back,’ ” he said.
DiLiberto noted that the models are doing more than just striking poses and signing calendars — they’ll also help promote fire safety education.
Another model and fireman of 10 years, Erasmos Soto, 36, said he plans to gift a calendar to a special someone.
“My grandma wanted one so fast. I was like, ‘You know what? I got you,’ ” he said.
