The Knicks’ run to their first championship in 53 years has led to many changes at the top of the Eastern Conference, highlighted by three blockbuster trades that could have major implications for the Knicks.

1. The Celtics trade Jaylen Brown to the 76ers.
Wednesday’s megadeal shook up the East, giving the 76ers another All-Star in Brown — and taking him away from the Celtics. A big four of Brown, Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe is certainly impressive on paper. Don’t forget, the Sixers also landed Alabama star guard Labaron Philon Jr. in the draft, and signed a pair of intriguing free agents: high-scoring guard Anfernee Simons and versatile forward Dean Wade. This has the makings of a legitimate contender if Embiid is healthy come playoff time.
