A federal immigration agent shot and wounded a man in the Bronx on Thursday afternoon, police and law enforcement sources told The Post.
The incident unfolded around 4:20 p.m. at 2 Marble Hill Ave., when an agent with Immigration and Customs Enforcement fired at a man in a car at the scene, the sources said.

“At around 4 p.m. today, there was a shooting involving federal law enforcement agents in the Marble Hill neighborhood of the Bronx,” the NYPD said in a post on X. “The NYPD was not involved in the incident and was not on scene at the time of the shooting.
“The individual who was shot is at a nearby hospital and is currently conscious and receiving medical attention,” the department said.
Video footage from the scene shows police pulling a man from a silver SUV in handcuffs, while armed federal agents surround the vehicle — even as bystanders begin to gather on the sidewalk.
One man in a construction vest with a badge around his neck roamed around the vehicle holding a semi-automatic rifle, keeping bystanders back.
“They shot this n—– out the car, bro,” one bystander is heard sayong on one clup. “This ain’t NYPD. This n—- ain’t even dressed like an NYPD detective. This n—- over here got a AR. Look at this. That’s ICE. This is ICE, bro.”
The wounded man’s injuries are not life-threatening, the sources said.
“I was in the store on Broadway and someone said someone’s getting shot,” one witness to the aftermath told The Post. “And then I came out and there was someone on the ground in handcuffs.
“There was a guy holding a gun up, looking around in case someone wanted to interfere,” he added. “He was ICE.”
ICE officials did not immediately respond to a request for comment and further details are pending.
