Jaxson Dart has entered the Offensive Rookie of the Year award conversation.

The Giants’ rookie will replace Russell Wilson as the team’s starting quarterback beginning Sunday against the Chargers.

After the move, Dart’s odds to win the OROY award dropped to +750 at FanDuel Sportsbook, which are tied with three other players for the third-best odds on the board.

Buccaneers wide receiver Emeka Egbuka remains a +350 favorite, with Colts tight end Tyler Warren close behind at +750.

Dart, a first-round pick, made two regular-season appearances for the Giants in the first three weeks, totaling six snaps.

He ran the ball twice and handed it off four times without attempting a pass.

During the preseason, though, Dart impressed, completing 32 of 47 passes for 372 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions, while also running the ball six times for 52 yards and one touchdown.

Dart takes over for Wilson after he went 0-3 during his short tenure as the starter.

Wilson flashed some of his former brilliance during Week 2, throwing for 450 yards in a high-scoring thriller against the Cowboys, but couldn’t score more than nine points in his other two starts.

Betting on the NFL?

During their home opener Sunday, an ugly 22-9 loss to the Chiefs, Giants fans cheered for Dart and booed Wilson when they were on the field.

Dart will make his first career start against a Chargers defense that’s allowing the fourth-fewest points per game (16.7) in the league.

After that, he’ll get a bit of an easier task when the Giants head to New Orleans to play the Saints, who are also 0-3 heading into Week 4.
