WASHINGTON — Juan Soto enjoys returning to Nationals Park, where he largely is still embraced for his contributions over five seasons to begin his major league career.

It’s a contrast to the reception Soto has received from Yankees fans following his one season in The Bronx.

“I helped to bring a championship to this city [in 2019], so I think they really appreciate that,” Soto told The Post on Monday before the Mets defeated the Nationals 16-7 in 12 innings.

And what about the negative reaction he receives from Yankees fans, many of whom booed him over the weekend during the Subway Series?
