The Cowboys have officially reached the point where even their former stars are demanding heads roll.

Following Dallas’ humiliating 24-16 loss to the previously winless Buccaneers on “Thursday Night Football,” former Cowboys wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson delivered a profanity-laced tirade calling for owner Jerry Jones to clean house.

“Man, f—k the Cowboys,” Johnson began in a video posted to X from Las Vegas.

And that was just the opening salvo.

“Get rid of the coach. Get rid of the defensive coordinator,” Johnson demanded. “I know you don’t want to fire people in the middle of the season, but it’s time. It’s literally time.”

Johnson’s frustration was understandable. Dallas entered Thursday favored by as many as 10 points against an 0-4 Buccaneers team starting undrafted rookie quarterback Jalon Daniels.

Instead, the Cowboys were embarrassed in their own building, with Dak Prescott throwing a game-ending interception and the offense once again failing to deliver when it mattered.

Johnson saved his sharpest criticism for head coach Brian Schottenheimer, questioning what qualifications earned him one of football’s most prestigious jobs.

“You hired a coach based on what? He got fired in Seattle. This ain’t no Kyle Shanahan. He ain’t no Ben Johnson,” Johnson fumed. “You hired him based off his Daddy’s last name. He ain’t his father. He’s a long way from Marty!”

Ouch.

Johnson also mocked fellow Cowboys legend Michael Irvin, who wagered his hair on Dallas reaching the NFC Championship Game.

“NFC Championship game? Man, you can’t even beat an NFC opponent,” Johnson said. “My boy Michael Irvin is the laughingstock right now.”

Perhaps the most damning indictment came from Prescott himself.

After a stadium worker reportedly called the performance “embarrassing” as Prescott walked toward the locker room, the quarterback offered little resistance.

“Not that they’re wrong,” Prescott admitted afterward.

When your franchise quarterback agrees with the hecklers and your former stars are publicly demanding firings, the problem isn’t outside noise anymore. It’s on the field and Jerry Jones and the Cowboys are running out of excuses.
