While star Spain winger Lamine Yamal has only scored one goal in this World Cup, he has been a key part of his home country advancing to its semifinal showdown against France on July 14.
France has arguably the most lethal attack in the sport, which might mean that Yamal will need to produce at least one goal for Spain to have a chance.
The good news is that Yamal (who turned 19 years old yesterday) will have a solid support system at the game, especially with his girlfriend, 21-year-old Ines Garcia, uplifting him.
These two went official with their relationship earlier in 2026 and are still going strong. Garcia has also been turning heads with the outfits she has been wearing to Spain’s games, as she has been following them throughout the World Cup.
But it was the message Garcia sent Yamal over social media that’s turning heads today. It was a black-and-white photo posted to her Instagram Story, which showed her and Yamal in an intimate embrace.
“te deseo toda la buena suerte del mundo 🤎🤞🏾,” the post was captioned in Spanish, which translates in English to, “i wish you all the good luck in the world 🤎🤞🏾”.

Spain has managed to advance because of very late goals in their last two games, including in the Round of 16 win against Portugal and in its quarterfinal win against Belgium.
But they might not be able to rely on late-match heroics against Kylian Mbappé and France, who have scored 16 goals across six World Cup editions to this point.
