This may finally be the end of LIV Golf.

BC Partners, an investment firm which was set to provide up to $300 million to fund LIV 2.0, is walking away from the rebel golf league, which is now set to seek liquidation, the Financial Times reported Wednesday.

The decision came due to BC Partners beliving LIV wasn’t going to have enough players for next year.

LIV Golf began play in 2022 with the backing of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, but the PIF yanked its funding earlier this year, imperiling the circuit that had lured stars such as Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm, Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson with reported nine-figure contracts.

Koepka has since rejoined the PGA Tour, and Rahm recently solidified his exit from LIV.
