The Denver Broncos’ field wasn’t the most interesting place that Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford popped up on Sunday.
That would be the MTV VMAs—although Stafford wasn’t there in person. Instead, he and his wife, Kelly, made a surprise cameo on the “Patient Zero” music video that Taylor Swift debuted.
Matthew and Kelly appear several times in the video, including in one scene where they can be seen dancing together in the background. Kelly wears an eye-catching dress while Matthew rocks a tuxedo, as the scene is set at a formal event.
Kelly and Matthew have a good relationship with Swift, which was shown when they attended Swift and Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce’s wedding back in July.
Kelly later said in an Instagram post that the wedding was, “A night that reminded us all just how lucky we are to have found our person.”
Neither Matthew or Kelly got to see the music video debut live, as it happened while Stafford was facing Denver (which Kelly traveled with their four daughters to watch in person).
But one would imagine that they’ve already seen the video, as Swift might have given them a sneak peek.
