An Ukrainian woman who was reported missing in Southern California more than a year ago may have booked it to Mexico, police announced Friday.

Ganna Kovrizhynkh, who was 38 when she vanished in San Diego area last July, “likely had voluntarily crossed into Mexico,” the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office announced.

Investigators were able to make contact with Kovrizhynkh on August 7 and verified her identity. She is reported to be staying in the Mexican state of Sinaloa, which hundreds of miles south of the US-Mexico border.

A friend had reported Kovrizhynkh missing after she was driving through San Diego County on a cross-country road trip. She had moved to Hallandale Beach, Florida and was making the trek from Florida to California.

Family last had contact with her the week prior to her missing. Kovrizhynkh’s vehicle and trailer were discovered in the community of Potrero north of the border.

The sheriff’s office has notified the Embassy of Ukraine of her whereabouts.

It’s unclear why Kovrizhynkh’s decided to enter to Mexico. The Post previously reported she left an eerie message to her mother before going missing.

She sent her mother  “a photograph of a letter along with GPS coordinates” that “essentially provided instruction to give her personal assets to her mother,” a missing-person alert said.

In the account, she’s tagged in numerous photos showing what appear to be art exhibits. Kovrizhynkh describes herself as a “psyhic-artist” and author of the book “Zeroing.”

The book has an odd description: “Witness to God so as an entrance to a parallel world.”
